Libra Full Moon – Energy vampires or givers?
Tuesday’s Full Moon is in Libra. The Moon and Sun are opposing in each other and it’s bringing to light your relationships. With others and yourself.
Not all connection is equal.
Do you have energy vampires or energy givers in your life?
Libra is the diplomat. The peacemaker. The scales of justice.
But she also has another side.
The overgiver.
The people pleaser.
The one who gets stuck in black and white thinking.
And when we talk about relationships, this isn’t just romantic.
This is business. Family. Friendships. The “other” people in your life.
On the other side of this Full Moon, we have the Sun in Aries.
Aries is the self. The ego. The courage to be YOU. To fight for anything worthy of your love and energy.
So this Moon is highlighting the space between the two.
Where you are in relation to others…
and where you are in relation to yourself.
And it’s not always obvious.
Nothing has to be broken. There doesn’t have to be conflict.
But there can be a subtle nudge that something is off.
Because you’re good at this.
You know how to hold space. You know how to keep things steady.
But sometimes that steadiness comes from over-compromising.
Over-giving. Adjusting yourself just enough to avoid discomfort.
If you’ve been:
- Feeling drained after certain interactions
- Replaying conversations in your head
- Saying yes when you meant maybe
- Holding back what you actually think or feel
That’s your signal.
This Full Moon isn’t asking you to fix your relationships. It’s not asking for immediate changes.
It’s asking you to look at them honestly.
Tune this into a small ritual. Nothing elaborate. Just intentional.
Some relationships will feel easy. Some will feel hard.
Both can be valid.
But the question is:
Are you allowed to exist fully inside them?
You don’t need to become someone different. You need to see where you’ve been leaving yourself out.
Full Moon Ritual
You’ll need:
- A journal + pen
- Optional Crystals:
- For Aries (self): carnelian or red jasper
- For Libra (other): rose quartz or green aventurine
Sit down. Take a breath. Let your body settle.
And then start to look at your relationships.
All of them. Or pick 3.
You can do this as a list, or sit with each one individually.
And ask yourself:
- Where do I feel like myself in this relationship?
- Where am I adjusting to keep things smooth?
- How do I feel after spending time with this person – steady, or drained?
Let your answers be honest. Not kind. Not filtered.
Just true.
This isn’t about cutting people off. And it’s not about making big decisions tonight.
It’s about awareness.
Because you can’t change what you won’t acknowledge.
If something comes up and you’re ready to release it, book a Crystal Reiki Session with me. The mind can hide things, rationalize things, but the body holds on. The energy lingers long after your brain has made it make sense.

Mercury Retrograde isn’t what you think
There’s a particular kind of frustration happening right now.
Not dramatic. Not explosive. Just… foggy.
Mercury is retrograde in Pisces.
And Pisces doesn’t move in straight lines.
It blurs. It softens. It dissolves edges.
Which can look like:
- Conversations not landing.
- Explaining yourself twice and somehow making it worse.
- Second-guessing your intuition.
- Feeling oddly indecisive about things that are usually clear.
- Mental fatigue that sleep doesn’t quite fix. (Rude.)
I felt it last weekend. Every conversation felt slightly off. Like we were all speaking, but not quite meeting. I often feel like no one is listening, but this was everywhere. Misunderstood on so many fronts.
It was frustrating. Not catastrophic. Just… inefficient. And slightly maddening.
Retrogrades aren’t random chaos events. They’re reviews and reflection time.
And when Mercury retrogrades through Pisces, the “review” isn’t logical, it’s energetic.
- Where are boundaries softening?
- Where are you absorbing what isn’t yours?
- Where are you trying to get clarity from someone who is also confused?
Pisces fog doesn’t mean something is wrong. It means your system is processing something before your mind can neatly label it.
Most people respond to this by trying to force certainty.
Make the decision.
Clear the misunderstanding immediately.
Send the follow-up text.
Re-explain…
Over-explain…
Then explain the explanation.
Which, as you can imagine, rarely improves things.
Let me help you get clarity
Everyone feels retrogrades to some extent, but if the information all over social media isn’t landing for you, it could be too general and not specific to YOU.
I look at where retrogrades happening in your chart.
Because for some women, this fog shows up in the body as low energy or stalled action.
For others, it’s work through unclear direction, mixed messages, miscommunication on a project or with the boss or coworkers.
For others, it’s relational when conversations loop, boundaries feel porous, wondering if you’re “too sensitive” again.
Same transit. Different life department.
When you have awareness and understand what area of your life is affected you stop asking:
“Why can’t I just decide?”
“Why does everything feel harder than it should?”
“Am I overthinking this?”
“Why is no one hearing me?”
Instead, you think:
“Oooooh. This is being reviewed.”
That shift alone steadies things. It doesn’t make it easier, sorry!
So here’s your simple direction for this retrograde:
- Slow decisions that don’t require urgency.
- Revisit conversations instead of rewriting them.
- Journal what feels unclear instead of forcing conclusions.
- Notice where you feel drained and see it as information.
- Take 24 hours before replying to something or someone.
If you know your birth time, we can pinpoint exactly where this Mercury retrograde is activating in your chart.
In a 45-minute session, we’ll:
- Identify the life area being reviewed
- Name the pattern being highlighted
- Clarify what’s yours to address (and what isn’t)
- Give you grounded reflection prompts so this period feels useful instead of chaotic
You don’t need to control the fog. You just need to know where you’re standing in it.
Book a Session. No drama. Just orientation.

Pisces Season: Staying Soft Without Disappearing
This time of year often feels softer. Emotions sit closer to the surface. Intuition gets louder. Things that were easy to ignore suddenly aren’t.
Pisces energy doesn’t operate in straight lines. It dissolves edges. It blurs what felt clearly defined. And for women who are already sensitive or attuned to other people, that can feel both beautiful and destabilizing.
You might notice:
• Feeling more sensitive than usual
• Absorbing other people’s moods
• Wanting to retreat or escape
• Old emotions resurfacing quietly
• A deeper pull toward meaning or spirituality
Pisces is the mystic, the dreamer, the one who senses what’s happening underneath the surface. On its high road, this energy is creative, compassionate, spiritually connected, and deeply intuitive.
On its low road, it can look like escapism. Over-giving. Confusion. Blurred boundaries. Absorbing what isn’t yours to carry.
When the nervous system feels porous, it looks for relief. Sometimes that relief shows up as distraction, avoidance, or emotional overwhelm.
Pisces season asks:
Establish boundaries.
Acknowledge your wisdom.
Let go of what is done, allowing something new to take root.

Pisces Crystal Kit

Sodalite

A Simple Way to Work With This Season
You don’t need a ritual.
Just notice this question as the month unfolds:
“Where am I living from expectation instead of truth?”
You don’t need to answer it straight away.
Awareness is enough to begin.
Pisces Affirmation
I establish healthy boundaries with love and clarity.
I trust my inner wisdom.
I release unconscious fear and remain present.
I serve with love without self-erasure.
Read them slowly.
Notice which one feels uncomfortable.
That’s usually the doorway.

Aquarius New Moon Solar Eclipse February 17: Where Are You Playing It Safe?
On February 17, we have an Aquarius New Moon and it’s also a Solar Eclipse.
New Moons mark beginnings. Solar Eclipses amplify them.
This isn’t subtle energy. It’s clarifying energy.
Aquarius is the sign of individuality within community. It governs innovation, the future, collective evolution, and the courage to live differently — not for rebellion’s sake, but for alignment.
If you’ve recently felt:
- Restless but unsure why
- Disconnected from something that used to fit
- Aware that you’re repeating patterns you already understand
- Quietly ready for something bigger
You’re not imagining it.
Aquarius energy doesn’t push for emotional drama. It pushes for perspective.
This is a moment to ask yourself:
- What long-term goals have I been postponing because they require discomfort?
- Where am I playing it safe?
- What patterns do I already see clearly but haven’t interrupted?
Eclipses tend to accelerate awareness.
They don’t create problems. They reveal where change is overdue.
This is not about blowing up your life overnight. It’s about making one honest adjustment.
Here’s how to work with this energy practically:
In the next 24 hours:
Take one small action that your future self would thank you for.
In the next week:
Initiate one conversation or decision you’ve been avoiding.
In the next month:
Commit to one structural shift — in your habits, boundaries, or direction.
Aquarius is future-oriented.
Ask yourself:
If I continue exactly as I am, will I recognize my life in three years?
This eclipse isn’t asking for chaos. It’s asking for clarity.
And clarity, when grounded, is steadying.
There’s nothing wrong with you.
You might simply be outgrowing something.

The Great Internal Re-Org
Why You Feel Like Hiding (And Why That’s Not a Problem)
If you’ve been staring at your to-do list like it belongs to someone else…
If your tolerance for small talk has dropped dramatically…
If you’ve briefly fantasised about disappearing somewhere quiet where nobody needs anything from you…
You’re not failing. You’re reorganizing.
There’s a difference.
We’re in a moment astrologically that feels like a tightening and a clearing at the same time. Saturn is shifting signs. An eclipse is approaching.
That doesn’t mean chaos.
It means recalibration.
If you feel urgency and exhaustion living in the same body — that makes sense.
Something is being asked of you.
And something else is being taken off your plate.
Let’s orient.
Constructive Friction
The energy right now isn’t dreamy or vague.
It’s clarifying.
You may notice:
- Less patience for dynamics that drain you
- A sharper awareness of where you’ve overextended
- A quiet but firm voice saying, “This isn’t sustainable.”
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about standing differently.
There’s a difference between being responsible for your life and being responsible for everyone else’s comfort.
This moment highlights that line.
It may feel lonely at first.
Authority often does.
The Social Reset
Eclipses tend to remove what’s already unstable.
Not dramatically.
Just definitively.
You might feel:
- Slight distance in a friendship
- A group no longer fitting
- A strange clarity about where you’ve been performing instead of participating
If something feels “off,” you don’t have to fix it immediately.
Sometimes clarity arrives as quiet detachment.
You don’t need to manage every door that closes.
Energy Accounting (This Is the Important Part)
Instead of checking your chart, try this:
Where does your energy feel overdrawn right now?
Not in theory.
In your actual body.
Who has access to you?
Who assumes access to you?
Where are you saying yes because it feels easier than disappointing someone?
This is not about blame.
It’s about orientation.
When your energy is constantly overextended, everything feels confusing.
When it’s protected, things get simpler.
This week is highlighting leaks.
Not so you panic.
So you can see clearly.
A Nervous System Note
Eclipse weeks can feel buzzy.
Tired but alert.
Flat but restless.
This is not a cue to think harder.
It’s a cue to reduce input.
Less explaining yourself.
Less over-processing.
Less narrating your decisions to people who haven’t earned that access.
Silence is allowed.
Clarity doesn’t come from pushing.
It comes when your system feels safe enough to settle.
If You Want Support With This
You don’t need to know your birth chart to feel this shift.
But if you’re tired of guessing
if you want context instead of self-blame
if you want to understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface…
That’s exactly what my sessions are for.
Sometimes that looks like mapping your patterns through astrology.
Sometimes it looks like regulating your system through energy work.
Both are about the same thing:
Helping you understand yourself well enough to stop fighting who you are.
If you want clarity, steadiness, and a place to land while this reorganises, my sessions are open.
No urgency.
Just support.

Winter Solstice Blessings & Ritual
| Happy Winter Solstice! The longest night of the year, the reset button, a time to honour the dark. |
December 21, Winter Solstice and Capricorn Season
I’ve been to two winter solstice events recently and the theme was similar: slow down, let go, start anew. The Winter Solstice is the time of year we are in the dark, sometimes in the physical sense with the sun barely over the horizon, sometimes in the spiritual or emotional sense. We’re encouraged to gather together with the people that bring us warmth and love. Connection during this cold time can warm our hearts and spirits.
We live in a society that seems to get busier at a time nature asks us to rest. There are endless to do lists, shopping, gatherings and s-t-r-e-s-s! With the Winter Solstice comes the new season of Capricorn. Boundaries are a key element for Capricorn. Setting them, honouring them, sometimes being a little too rigid with them. It can go either way. I also think it’s a time where whatever boundaries you are setting or have set are tested. But Capricorn, being industrious and hardworking, can bring the discipline you need to hold the line.
Solstice is the end and the beginning. Death and rebirth. The sun is coming back and with it the energy and brightness we carry within our selves. There is a quick way to celebrate below. Nothing fancy or involved because if you’re like me, you’re done before the holidays have even begun. I am looking forward to the void between Christmas and New Years to rest and find the joy in each day. There is magic! Even if it’s just holding that cup of coffee or tea close.
Laurel Berube – Crystal Moon Healing
| A Solstice Ritual As we near the end of the year, there are always thoughts turning towards what resolutions will I make? Who is the “new me” going to be in 2026. Let’s instead, look at what we are leaving behind. When we make space by letting go, something new can enter. Write down 1 thing you wish to leave in 2025. Some ideas to journal or think about. What patterns have come up for me that I know don’t serve me? What part of myself am I ready to let go of? What dream or part of myself have I been hiding out of fear? What is the heaviest thing (a habit, a worry, or a relationship) that I carried in 2025 that I refuse to carry into 2026? Take this paper and rip it up or burn it (safely) Now that I’ve let this go, what am I making room for in 2026? Write this down and keep it in a book, desk drawer, or plant it in dirt. You are planting the seed for 2026. Happy Solstice friends!! |
